How to add third level
domains? |
| A:
|
Option A. To add a third
level domain to an existing "root" domain:
- Log into Ourcp
Select DNS Server > DomainsClick the "Edit Subdomains" button for the "root" domain you
want to add the third level domain to,
- Enter the third level domain name in the text box and click
the corresponding Create button
The DNS will be updated within the next 12 to 24 hours, and the
domain will begin to resolve to the IP address of your virtual server.
The domain will not be added to the mail server. Because there is
no charge for adding a sub-domain to
an existing "root" domain your monthly fee will not change.
