Important: In order for us to host your Domain, you must request a Domain Transfer from the Domain Registrar where you first registered/purchased Domain. To transfer your Domain to the UCVHost Network, please follow the steps below.

 

Logging on to your Account

Step 1:

Open a new browser window and log on to your Go Daddy’s account. Alternatively, you can do it by Clicking Here.

If you do not have your login information please visit Password Retrieval page for that information

Step 2:

After a successful login, your domain name control panel will be displayed.

Now, Click on the “domain name” (For example: www.mydomain.com) you wish to make changes to. Alternatively, you can click ‘Modify Nameservers’ which takes you to step 4.

Changing Name Server Information

Step 3:

You will be taken to the control panel for the selected domain. Go to the section named “Name Server Information”. Click the link named ‘Click here to modify’ next to “Name Server Information”.

Step 4:

The name server fields are as shown in figure 1.

Replace the existing name server name by UCVHost name servers as follows:

Name Server 1: ns1.UCVHost.com
Name Server 2: ns2.UCVHost.com

There is no need of entering IP numbers for UCVHost’s name servers, as godaddy’s system looks those up automatically.

Click on ‘SAVE CHANGES’ to save the DNS settings made and you'll see the following screen.

Please note it will take 48 hours for this information to update across the Internet.
